Division 04

Warehousing & Storage Space

2PL and 3PL warehousing and storage in Qatar — racked and open storage, inventory managed in a real WMS, picking, handling and distribution.

Warehouse capacity in Qatar is usually let on rigid annual terms. We take a different view — space is available on flexible terms, so you can scale with a contract win instead of committing a year ahead of it.

Every unit is under 24/7 CCTV, has loading dock access, and can be tied into our own stock and asset tracking so you can see what is in the building without walking it.

The practical difference between 2PL and 3PL here is who does the work. Take space on a 2PL basis and you are renting the building — racked or open, with dock access and security, and your own people handling what is inside it. On a 3PL basis we handle it: receiving, put-away, picking and despatch against your stock file, with the warehouse team as an extension of yours. Businesses generally start on one and move to the other as volume changes, which is easier when it does not mean changing supplier.

The reason we run our own Warehouse Management System rather than a spreadsheet is that we needed one for this division before we sold it to anyone. Stock is recorded against location, movements are logged as they happen, and — because it is the same group that runs the tracking platform — inbound and outbound vehicle movements can sit on the same screen as the stock they are carrying.

FAQ

Warehousing in Qatar — common questions

Both, and you can move between them. 2PL is space, security and dock access with your team handling the goods. 3PL adds our people and our WMS doing the receiving, picking and despatch. Most enquiries start as a space question and turn into a handling one once the volumes are on the table.
Yes — the facility has dock-height access and yard space to manoeuvre, so container and truck loading is routine. Tell us the schedule and what is in it and we will confirm the handling before it lands.
Yes, where you are on the WMS. Stock sits against its location and movements are recorded as they happen, so what is in the building is a screen rather than a walk. Equipment and high-value items can also carry asset trackers and appear on the same dashboard.
That is the reason the terms are flexible. Most Qatar warehousing is let on rigid annual, whole-unit agreements, which forces you to commit to space a year before you win the work that needs it. Tell us what you are bidding for and we will structure the agreement around it.
The facility is under continuous monitored CCTV with recorded footage retained, and access is controlled. For equipment and high-value stock, asset trackers add a second layer that reports into the same platform as the vehicles.
